Can we still get out of a contract with a merchant/establishment when we feel that we are not getting what we are paying for?

My fiancé and I are getting married on 8/7/11, and signed a contract with a wedding vendor (Inn) on 3/25/11. We did not heed the advice of poor reviews on the inn listed online, and now are regretting signing the contract. We have experienced considerable run-around with the owner of the inn, feel like we are being "bullied," and generally just do not feel that we are getting the service that should be expected of a vendor of this nature. Given that, we would like to get out of the contract at as little (or no) cost to us. Need help.
