What can I do about getting hurt while being in jail on their beds? Can I sue the state? Or if they did not give the right medical attention?

Theoretically yes. Your question does not have very many facts. When suing a governmental entity you must first make a tort claim within six (6) months of the incident. Only after the tort claim is rejected can you sue in court. Because the time frame is so short, you should find an attorney to speak with right away.

There are some immunities which may apply. However, the medical issues may not be included. You should contact a prisoner rights law firm.
